Brert Favre infomed his teammates yesterday that they will definitely be making the playoffs this saeson so when January comes around not to make any other plans. Sunday’s games against the Bills is a good place to begin by winning and creeping closer to a playoff birth. if the season comes down...
Tannenbaum’s Job Is On The Line
Mike Tannenbaum’s job could be on the line if the Jets choke big down the stretch and fail to make the playoffs. It was his idea before the season began to spend big bringing in Jenkins and Favre. The year before he convinced team owner Johnson to give Thomas Jones a big contract in order to pull...
Jets Must Beat The Bills
Our Jetsies are down, bloodied but do not yet count them out.  This Sunday’s game against the Bills will likely be the most important game of the Mangini era.  A win and the losses of the past two weeks are forgotten and will be viewed as nothing else  than a blip on the screen.  A loss however,...
Will Penninghton Laugh Last?

hins to victory over the Jets at the Meadowlands, could this really happen? The answer, is YES!  The Jets, losers of their last two games, are setting the stage for a  showdown game against their former quarterback.

Here’s the deal, the Jets are losing momentum and the blame will fall squarely on Mangini’s shoulders if they fail to make the playoffs. Two weeks ago, we were mentioning the Jets as a possible Super Bowl team and now we’re about to find out what they are all about.  Are they heroes? or, zeroes?

Jets Letting Opportunity Slip Away
The Jets are determined to make their division race interesting by losing games they’re suppose to be winning.  Yesterday’s dreaded loss to the lowly Forty Niners put the Jets in a three way tie with the Dolphins and the Patriots.  Despite their good fortune earlier in the year and their...
Jets and Niners First Half Update,
14-7, San Francisco leads the Jets after the first half Looks like someone forgot to tell San Francisco that the NY Jets  are a playoff caliber team that they are not suppose to have a chance against.  So far, the Jest are losing the time of possession battle and are in danger of losing to  this very...
Coles To The Rescue! Romeo too?

It’s time for Lavernues Coles to step up and demand the damn ball from the offense. Coles is having a so-so year but with the size contract the Jets signed him for he should be utilize and playing like one of the top receivers in the game.  The Jets will never become an elite NFL team until they upgrade their secondary and with then bring in a successful big time defensive coordinator like Romeo Crennel, the current head coach of the Cleveland Browns and soon to be ex- head coach to manage their defense.  For now, the offense and Coles in particular owe it to the team to pick up the slack.  Expect a descent game from Lavernues Coles today and also expect lots of buzz in the weeks ahead about Romeo joining the Jets next season. Mangini and Crennel go way back then they both worked for Bill Belichick up at Foxsboro.

Pot Bust for Ellis, Who Cares
It’s not like Shaun Ellis shot himself in the leg in a night club like the “plax” man did.  He was caught less than 50 grams of pot driving home when he was stopped by police for a traffic infraction.  If he were a civilian, he would have received a DAT and told to go on his way....
Will Jenkins Get His Revenge?
C.  Jenkins who up until last week’s game against the Broncos had been mentioned as a candidate for NFL’s player of the year had all of a sudden found himself being dominated at the line of scrimmage by a lineman 75 lbs lighter then he. You can be that Jenkins, who took Sunday’s loss...
Is Favre Too Old For The Cold
Word around the NFL is that Bret Favre is no longer a productive cold weather quarterback. The critics point to last year’s NFC championship game and recently this past Sunday’s loss to the Broncos.  I for one do not agree and, if you look at his win loss record in December these past years,...
