Jeff McLane is the Eagles beat reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

One reason for Bell to choose the Eagles: Todd Bowles is the new Philadelphia Eagles defensive backs coach. Previously, he was the secondary coach in Miami where he coached Yeremiah Bell. Furthermore, he was the interim head coach for the Dolphins for the final three games of the 2011 season after the firing of Tony Sparano.

One reason for Bell to choose the Jets: Bell was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 6th round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He has played their his entire career, so I am sure there is some extra incentive to choose the Jets so he can play against his former teammates and coaches twice a year. He will also be reunited with Tony Sparano, his head coach from 2008-2011.
