Due diligence continues

Seems like the Jets sign a new player every day.

They just announced they’ve brought T Nevin McCaskill, who was waived by the Packers last Monday, on board.

Listed at 6-4, 300 pounds, the Hampton product by way of Tallahassee, Fla. was originally signed by the Bills as a free agent in 2007 and was a member of their practice squad for parts of the 2007 season before he was waived on Aug. 31. last year.

McCaskill also spent time on the Eagles practice squad last season before the Packers plucked him off the squad and signed him in December.
