Reader Bruce R. (a Cortland native) is at it again and he sent us another update and a bunch of pictures from the afternoon practice at Cortland on Friday.  Thanks again Bruce!

OK, the second part of day one was much better than the morning. The skies cleared up and it got humid.  Leon W. Looked like his old self (I knew he would come around) TJ hit some good holes opened by the O-line.  Kellen had a much better afternoon than morning. He hit on a couple of long touchdowns. Mark S. did not do so well. If I had to grade both Kellen A- Mark C+.

The wideouts were OK. To me, Clowney had the best performance of them all. His speed is incredible and if he can match his hands to his speed consistently then look out!  The D was good also. The afternoon standout today was Ahmad Carroll. He had a sack (he would have if Sanchez was not wearing red) and a Pick-Six.

Plenty of players signed auto’s for the fans (including myself) however, Mark Sanchez eluded me again. I am saving my helmet for his signature. TJ was also signing. On a side note; a fan had nothing for Jay Feely to sign, so Feely took off his cap, signed it, and proceeded to give it to the fan.  JAY YOU ARE THE MAN!
