News: One Less Place for Washington?

Chatter about Leon going to the Patriots might slow down, since the team signed their veteran RB Kevin Faulk to a one-year deal today.

The Patriots agreed to terms with running back Kevin Faulk Wedensday, the fifth player to re-up with the team in the last week.  Comcast Sports New England says it’s a one-year deal.
Faulk has played all eleven of his seasons in New England.  He didn’t much attention from any Belichick disciples, but there was never a sense he could possibly leave.

The Patriots might well still make a play, but it sure looks a lot more unlikely now.  While it does potentially close the door on the Washington to New England talk, there still might be more teams that would be interested in Washington.
